Share values of Agrokor companies rise on Zagreb Stock Exchange

The 80 million euros loan extended to Agrokor by a group of banks in Croatia last week has resulted in workers receiving their wages and small and medium-sized distributors receving a portion of money they are owed. Share values of Agrokor’s companies rose today on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Meeting held in Belgrade to discuss Agrokor crisis

The relevant government ministers from Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro discussed the Agrokor crisis in the Serbian capital today. Afterwards the participants said they were willing to talk to the Croatian government but that this was a Croatian problem and so they should be solved there, without burdening businesses in their countries.

Petrokemija and Borovo to be recapitalized by Summer, says minister

The Minister for State Owned Assets Goran Marić today commented on the Petrokemija fertilizer and Borovo textile companies, both of which are struggling to stay afloat financially. Marić said they would undergo recapitalization and then be privatized by the Summer.
