PM designate meets president before trip to Austria

Prime Minister designate Tihomir Orešković is expected to meet bankers, investors and creditors in Austria and discuss with them Croatia’s deficit and public debt which are affecting the country’s credit rating.

USKOK says Petrov was not spied on during coalition talks

The state’s anti-corruption agency has confirmed that it has not found any evidence that would suggest that Most’s leader, Božo Petrov was put under surveillance. Most remains unconvinced.

Slovenian soldiers seen removing parts of razor wire fence

Members of Slovenia’s armed forces have been observed removing parts of the razor wire fence along the flooded upper reaches of the Kupa river in the Gorski Kotar region. Slovenia decided to erect the controversial and deadly fence along its border with Croatia a month ago to prevent illegal migrants from entering the country.
